Today, I’m Feeding on the Faithfulness I Noticed…

“Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and feed on faithfulness.” (Psa 37:3)

1. You’re a “feeder.”
2. You feed where you “dwell.”
3. You are what you “eat.”

Throughout Psalm 37, the good shepherd nudges us away from fretting because of evildoers, being envious of wrongdoers, and dwelling in anger.

The good shepherd nudges us toward trust in the LORD, doing good, delighting in the LORD, committing our way to the LORD, being still before the LORD, waiting for the LORD, and keeping the LORD’s way, which is all another way of saying, “feed on faithfulness.”

Want to dig a little deeper? The sermon is here.

If you’re like me, daily prompts to “feed on faithfulness” can be really helpful. Here’s a tool for the next few weeks, leading up to Thanksgiving.

Today, I’m feeding on the faithfulness I noticed in several of the songs we sang yesterday at Charlestown Road.

Great is Thy faithfulness.

I’ve seen faithful love face to face, and Jesus is His name.

Hold to God’s unchanging hand.

I close my eyes; I see His Majesty.
I close my eyes, and feel His love for me.

What about you? Where are you noticing faithfulness worth feeding upon today?
