GRAN’S BULLET SHOCKER
Pensioner Hou Guoying was stunned when she complained to doctors about an agonising headache – and discovered she’d had a bullet lodged in her face for 42 YEARS.
Housewife Hou visited Daping Hospital in China for an x-ray, and was amazed when medics told her the reason for her pain.
And she had to rack her brains for the answer – before remembering she had been accidentally shot with a starting pistol during the proletarian cultural revolution in 1967.
The 65 year old underwent surgery to remove the 3.3cm long bullet – and is now recovering at home in Chongqing.
