In Acts 20:26-27 Paul described his efforts to proclaim “the whole counsel of God.” What is that?
As we seek a Biblical answer to that question, we quickly discover that we have not heard “the whole counsel of God” if we have not heard his command to repent (Ezek 18:30; Matt 3:2; Mark 1:15; Acts 2:38; 8:22; 17:30). But what is repentance?
- Repentance means you change your mind (Luke 15:17)
- Repentance means you change your behavior (Luke 3:8)
So how? How does that come about? What does it look like? What is happening when I repent?
