Churches That Thrive

A church that is thriving is growing, developing strength, prospering, and flourishing. We know that the church belongs to Jesus and that churches are made up of people, so what sort of people make up a church that is thriving? Consider the answer provided by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:11-22.

Churches That Thrive Are:

  • Shaped by the will of God (1 Thes 5:18-22)
  • Overseen by laborers with the hearts of shepherds (1 Thes 5:12-13)
  • Strengthened by a one-another-driven family of believers (1 Thes 5:11, 13-15)
  • Renewed day by day with the mind of Christ Jesus (1 Thes 5:16-18)
