Who Killed Jesus?

Who Killed Jesus

He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten… (1 Pet 2:22-23)

For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners… (Heb 7:26)

SINLESS. He’s the only man who has ever lived who can be described in that way. He was the most innocent, virtuous, selfless man of all time. And he was executed in the most cruel fashion imaginable between two thieves. People cheered as he died. It was the greatest miscarriage of justice in all of human history.

So, who’s responsible? If you were asked, “Who killed Jesus?” how would you respond?

This sermon was delivered on June 12, 2016.
