It’s Monday. Time to walk the walk. Yesterday, Christians all over the world reflected on the promises of God. We studied, sang, prayed, remembered, and proclaimed the promises of God.
Now it’s Monday. Time to stand on the promises of God. What does that mean, practically speaking?
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. (2 Cor 7:1)
It’s Monday. Be holy in the use of your physical body.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Cor 6:19-20)
It’s Monday. Be holy in mindset.
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Col 3:1-4)
It’s Monday. You studied, sang, prayed, remembered, and proclaimed the promises of God yesterday. Bring holiness to completion by standing on the promises of God today.
