Royal Seal Impression of King Hezekiah Discovered in Jerusalem

A seal impression bearing the name of King Hezekiah (2 Kings 16-20; 2 Chronicles 28-32; Isaiah 36-39) has been discovered near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The tiny inscription reads, “Belonging to Hezekiah (son of) Ahaz king of Judah,” and is reported as the first of its kind to be discovered in an excavation.
