Michael Hyatt’s 6 Rules for More Effective Slide Presentations

“Few things can ruin an excellent presentation like terrible slides.”

With that in mind, Michael Hyatt offers six rules for public speakers who use PowerPoint or Keynote.

  1. Create a logical flow.
  2. Make them readable.
  3. Avoid clichéd photos.
  4. Use one point per slide.
  5. Remember, less is more.
  6. Create a resource page.

I’m curious–particularly from the standpoint of preaching or teaching a Bible class–what else would you add to Hyatt’s list?
