Whoever Walks with the Wise Becomes Wise

God Shaped

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. (Pro 13:20)

Do you want to grow in wisdom? “Walk” with the wise.

  • Read what wise people have written.
  • Listen to what wise people say, preach, and teach.
  • Fill your social media streams with posts from wise people.
  • Show hospitality to wise people that you might get to know them better.
  • Ask to get involved with wise people as they serve others.
  • When a wise person offers advice, correction, or a rebuke, listen.

“Walk” with the sort of people God would describe as “wise” and it will shape you for the better.

Do you want to increase in foolishness? “Walk” with fools.

  • Read what foolish people have written.
  • Listen to what foolish people say, preach, and teach.
  • Fill your social media streams with posts from foolish people.
  • Spend free time with foolish people who want to do foolish things.
  • Follow the lead of foolish people who are only looking out for themselves.
  • When a wise person offers advice, correction, or a rebuke, don’t listen.

“Walk” with the sort of people God would describe as “fools” and it will harm you. God has warned you because he loves you.

With whom will you “walk” today?
