THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31st • THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE
Scripture for the Day: “Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.” (1 Chron 29:11-13)
Thought for the Day: God owns it all. We are just stewards here on the earth for a little while. God owned everything before we came into this life and it will still be his when we are gone. All that we become or are is because of the greatness of God. We need to glorify him in all that we do.
Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, I thank you for the gift of these 32 days of powerful prayer. May I continue to recognize and proclaim your greatness in prayer and abroad every single day. I praise you above everything else in my life. Bless me, Father, even as I seek to bless you in all that I do.”
