Today's Bible Reading:

Day 30 of Powerful Prayer

32 Days of Powerful Prayer

Scripture for the Day: “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph 6:4)

Thought for the Day: A successful father loves his children and communicates his love with words, kindness, fairness, and discipline. He builds and nurtures a relationship with his children. He seeks influence, not absolute control. Successful fathers have their spiritual lives in order and recognize they are the spiritual leaders of their God-entrusted families. We need men who will decisively determine that they will serve the Lord and lead their families in ways that glorify the heavenly Father.

Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, I thank you for the gift of godly fathers. I pray specifically for… May you use me as an encourager in the lives of your sons.”
