FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th • PRAYER FOR THE SHARING OF FAITH
Scripture for the Day: “I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.” (Philemon 6)
Thought for the Day: Faith is not exclusively personal. Faith is meant by God to be shared (1 Pet 3:15). When faith is shared and comes in contact with a good and honest heart (Luke 8:15), the fruit of the full knowledge of every good thing available in Christ is borne. We should frequently and consistently pray that this God-appointed process would be worked out in our own lives and the lives of fellow disciples.
Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, I pray that the sharing of my faith would become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is available in Christ. Use me for Christ’s sake. May my life be a means by which someone else can come to faith in him.”
