THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24th • NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR OUR GOD
Scripture for the Day: “I prayed, saying, ‘Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.’” (Jer 32:16-17)
Thought for the Day: How often do we think of the events happening around us as set in stone? God is greater than every obstacle. When things are too hard for us, he can handle them. If God can create everything around us, nothing is too hard for him to accomplish. Our God specializes in making the impossible possible. Don’t allow anxiety, fear, and uncertainty to keep you from serving God Almighty.
Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, I believe in you as God Almighty. Nothing is too hard for you. I want to be honest about the obstacles and burdens of my heart… I cast these before you, trusting that you are greater than the most “impossible” of situations and difficulties. Help me to remember that through you, I can overwhelmingly conquer (Rom 8:37).”
