TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1st • PRAYER AS STEP #1 IN DECISION-MAKING
Scripture for the Day: “In these days [Jesus] went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God. And when day came, he called his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles.” (Luke 6:12-13)
Thought for the Day: Prayer is fundamental—not supplemental—to the disciple of Christ. Before Jesus made this major decision, he spent an entire night in prayer. Let’s learn from his example and put PRAYER at the top of every major list of priorities.
