Day 18 of Powerful Prayer

32 Days of Powerful Prayer

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17th  •  COURAGEOUS PRAYER

Scripture for the Day: “When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.” (Dan 6:10)

Thought for the Day: Daniel knew a law had been passed that banned people from making petition to any god or man but King Darius for 30 days. He prayed to God anyway, as was his daily custom.

Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, help me to be courageous in prayer. May I never allow anyone or anything to come between me and my allegiance to you.”
