Day 14 of Powerful Prayer

32 Days of Powerful Prayer

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13th  •  A PRAYER OF HUMBLE SELF-EXAMINATION

Scripture for the Day: “Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup.” (1 Cor 11:28)

Thought for the Day: There are many layers to the Lord’s Supper. Remembrance. Proclamation. Communion. But also self-examination. God wants me to begin this new week by looking into myself.

Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, words cannot express the love you have shown me in the giving of your only Son for my sins. May I use this first day of the week for humble, honest self-examination. Refine me that you might use me to the praise of your glorious grace.”
