SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12th • THANKSGIVING FOR THE HERITAGE OF CHILDREN
Scripture for the Day: “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!” (Psa 127:3-5)
Thought for the Day: Our family at Laurel Canyon has been truly blessed with many children. This is a blessing from the LORD that demands work on the part of all of us. We will leave a spiritual heritage to the generations that come after us.
Seeds for Today’s Prayers: “Father, I thank you for the children at Laurel Canyon and beyond. May they grow to love and serve you. Be with all of us as we do what we can to shape their hearts for you.”
