A lesson I preached in the A.M. assembly of January 18, 2008 at Laurel Canyon.
The previous lesson in this series encouraged us to rejoice in the “living hope” made possible by God’s mercy and Jesus’ resurrection. This lesson expounds on what that “living hope” calls us to do and be. How can we prepare our minds for action? What does it mean to set our hope fully on the grace of God? How can we overcome the lusts of past ignorance and triumphantly lead lives of holiness to God’s glory?
