We all know what it means to prepare.   Preparation played a vital role in the worship of God’s people in the Old Testament.   But what about us?   The New Testament contains some spectacular promises (1 Peter 2:9-10) and assurances (1 Peter 2:4-5) of our identity in Christ.   What, then, is required of us as redeemed children of God under the new covenant of Christ, and what role does preparation continue to play?
