Dealing With Doubt

James 1:5-6 is a good passage to remember throughout the week.

How will you deal with your doubts this week?   When you feel them slithering into your mind, remind yourself of the powerful foot of the Son of God that has already crushed the head of the serpent.   He can crush your doubts as well.

Why not resolve now that each of your prayers this week will be seasoned “in faith, with no doubting.”   This world is filled with people driven and tossed about like the waves.   By faith, you are anchored to the Rock.   Say with David this week:

I love you, O LORD, my strength.   The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.   I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies (Psalm 18:1-3).

Come what may, triumphantly follow the lead of the Defeater of doubts.   Not because of who you are, but because of what He’s done.   Not because of what you’ve done, but because of who He is.
