Wisdom Cries Aloud

Today’s thought is taken from Proverbs 1:20-21. Make sure that you pause long enough to place your mouse over that reference and read that passage. Maybe even read it a second time. Have you really listened to the message?

You’ll hear a lot of noise today. Much of it hasn’t evolved beyond what Paul warned about in 1 Timothy 6:20.

In the midst of it all, however, wisdom continues to cry out. On the sidewalks. In the classrooms. At the entrance of the work place.

Will you pause long enough to hear its echoes throughout the day?

  • “You shouldn’t do that.”
  • “You ought to step up.”
  • “You shouldn’t say that.”
  • “You need to say something.”
  • “You shouldn’t go there.”
  • “Someone is needed here.”

Wisdom cries aloud. “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
