Watch Out For The Angry

Take a moment to read the wise warning of Proverbs 22:24-25.

Now take a quick inventory of your friends.   Could one or more of them be accurately described as “given to anger”?   You’ve seen firsthand how foolish and destructive those who cannot control their tempers can be.   Not if, but when that person blows his top, what effect could it have on your life and reputation if you continue your close association?

Even more dangerous, have you already seen yourself following “his ways”?   Could it be that the more time you spend with that friend, the more entangled you become “in a snare”?

Let’s listen to the voice of wisdom today.   Let’s make sure that our friends are helping us draw closer to God, not presenting constant obstacles in our path to godliness.
