Stay Away From The Vomit

No picture today (for obvious reasons), but check out Proverbs 26:11.

GROSS! If you’ve never witnessed that nasty scene for yourself, it doesn’t take much to imagine how repulsive it really is.   But allow it to make an impression on you.   Remember that disturbing image throughout your day and its wise parallel with the person who repeats the same foolish mistakes, the same bad decisions, the same sinful actions, over and over again.

What is it in your life that repeatedly troubles you?   What temptations do you constantly go to battle against?   What pitfalls are consistently causing you to stumble?   Can you do better today?   If not, why not?

When those all-too-common obstacles rise up before you, remember.   Stay away from the vomit.
